Our signature event is March into Health, a month-long offering of free events, activities and educational sessions put on by our partner organizations – all focused on helping our local residents adopt healthier lifestyles.

Ashwani Garg, MD, a Family Physician and expert in Lifestyle medicine, will explain the science behind plant-based nutrition. Stefanie Ignoffo is a “plant interventionist.”
She will share the story of her entire family’s amazing transformation through plant-based cooking and offer a quick-and-easy food prep demonstration. Get to know your city and your neighbors as we slow roll through Elgin by bike. We’ll ride low stress routes for 3-5 miles. We will try to plan these to be friendly for ages 8-80.
